Fees & Funding

Funded Early Education and Childcare can be used for 3 or 4 year olds and qualifying 2 year olds to cover the full cost of each session (currently up to a maximum of 5 sessions per week (15 hours of Universal Entitlement or 10 sessions per week if you qualify for the Extended Entitlement of 30 hours.) More information about funding can be found here.

For those children that do not yet qualify, or for additional sessions in the week, the costs are as follows from September 2025:

2 year olds:

3 hour session£ 16.80

6 hour session£ 33.60

3-4 year olds:

3 hour session£ 16.20

6 hour session£ 32.40

*All prices correct as of September 2025

A voluntary additional fee is added to all invoices at a cost of £1 per session.
This covers additional activities and materials so that we can give children the best possible experience at Pre-School. Government funding does not fully cover the on-going costs incurred to run Pre-school, so we ask parents and carers to pay this fee to ensure the Pre-school's long term future in our community.
